Join Sara Amos, director of Generations Central Adult Day Center in Culpeper, for a discussion of strategies to help support brain health at every age, even if faced with a cognitive impairment diagnosis.

This program on May 26 at Powell Wellness Center begins at noon. It is free and open to the public. The 45-minute program will be held in the education room adjacent to the PWC lobby seating area. PWC is located at 1005 Golf Drive in Culpeper.

Presenter Sara Amos has a bachelor’s degree in Human Development, a master’s degree in Recreation Therapy, and 8 years of experience working with senior adults with cognitive impairments. She is currently the director of Generations Central Adult Day Center, which opened in March 2022. During her graduate studies, she worked with professors at Virginia Tech to develop a brain health course called Memory Masterclass, a 6-week course that highlighted practical and sustainable habits that can protect and boost brain health for individuals living with mild cognitive impairment.
