Healthy Living Grants 2025 application period opens March 10
Culpeper Wellness Foundation will award $120,000 in grants for health and wellness projects serving Culpeper, Madison and Orange counties.
Applications for the Healthy Living Grants will be accepted online beginning on Monday, March 10. The deadline to apply online is Friday, April 18 at 5 PM.

Applicants can request funding up to $10,000 to support projects or activities that will be completed by March 31, 2026. Volunteer members of the Foundation’s Community Grants Committee volunteer members will review the applications and determine which requests are funded. Applicants will be notified of the status of their application by May 23, 2025.
Grant recipients must be organizations recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or be a school, municipality or other subdivision of government. Organizations that do not have public charity status may apply for grants if a public charity acts as a fiscal sponsor.
“The Foundation’s mission is to improve health and promote wellness in Culpeper, Madison and Orange counties,” states Shari Landry, president of Culpeper Wellness Foundation. “The Healthy Living Grants Program allows us to support the efforts of local nonprofits that are passionate about making our communities healthier and stronger.”
In 2024, Healthy Living Grants totaling $120,000.00 were awarded to 16 organizations: Aging Together, Blue & Red Santa Project, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Virginia, Bridge Ministry, Inc., Carver Food Enterprise Center, Culpeper Public Schools, CDR Resource Center or Community Development Redistribution Resource Center, Culpeper Food Closet, Culpeper Mid-Day Lions, Manna Ministry, Generations Central Adult Day Center, Hospice of the Piedmont, Madison Learning Center, Orange County Free Clinic, Reva Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company, Inc., and Young Life Culpeper.
