Powell Wellness Center will be hosting a lifeguard certification training July 18-22. Lifeguards play an important role in community water safety, particularly with so many swimming lesson programs put on hold over the last year due to the pandemic.
The fee for training is $245, which includes testing. Certifications are valid for two years.
