There are a few reasons running is a popular form of exercise: it offers cardiovascular and strengthening benefits, it can be enjoyed pretty much anywhere, and gear is limited to an investment in shoes. Joining a running club offers yet another benefit: social interaction and support.
Personal trainer Joe Schuyler at Powell Wellness Center recently launched the Culpeper Wellness Running Club, which is open to all levels of runners in the community. By joining, you’ll enjoy the camaraderie of a group, training tips, and the motivation of a regular meet-up. Feel free to spread the word to anyone who might be interested.
