To improve health and promote wellness in Culpeper, Madison, and Orange counties.
The Foundation works to achieve its mission by:

- providing mission related grants to local nonprofits
The Culpeper Wellness Foundation operates Culpeper Sport & Fitness, Powell Wellness Center and the Free Clinic of Culpeper.
The Foundation holds a unique role in the community as a provider of services, a grantmaker and a partner in the pursuit of building healthier communities.

Powell offers a variety of group exercise classes and aquatic programs, including swim lessons for all ages.
